Money doesn’t grow on trees

The expression ‘money doesn’t grow on trees’ is a reminder to younger people not to waste money and be careful how much they spend, because money is not an infinite resource that is easy to acquire. We can’t just walk around and pick money like fruit from the trees, but must be earned by working hard.
