Two wrongs don’t make a right

“Two wrongs don’t make a right” is used to emphasize that it is not acceptable for someone to do wrong, to be unjust or dishonest just because someone did something bad to them first, or just because someone else did the same thing before. It is never right to wrong someone, even if they have wronged you first.
